Welcome to Fat Rappers

We're Ali B and J9, amateur hip-hop scholars who have noticed a trend in Middle America and Compton, the rise of fat rappers. Rappers used to be lean, mean, rapping machines; now they're pudgy and slow-moving.

As we all know, the culture of pop culture recapitulates the authentication of the image. What does it mean for rap that now the violent masculine rapper has man boobs?

That's what we're here for. Examining the waist lines and rhymes of today's biggest rappers.
